Rivet Nut
rivet nut is a precision fastener with a cylindrical structure, featuring a flange at one end, a knurled shank, and a metric machine thread in the inner bore. Common sizes range from M3 to M10. Common materials include high-quality low-carbon steel, medium-carbon steel, alloy steel, 304 stainless steel, 316 stainless steel, brass, and aluminum alloy. Surface treatments include environmentally friendly blue-white zinc plating, color zinc plating, black zinc plating, environmentally friendly nickel plating, zinc-nickel plating, Dacromet coating, electrophoresis, PVD, stainless steel natural finish, and stainless steel passivation. In terms of strength, carbon steel can reach grades 4.8, 6.8, and 8.8; stainless steel includes grades A2-50, A2-70, A4-70, and A4-80; and non-ferrous metals are no lower than grade 4.8. Common aliases include rivet nuts, flat-head rivet nuts, and knurled rivet nuts. They are widely used in riveting, fixing, and assembly in sheet metal parts, automotive parts, electronic device housings, home appliances, and communication equipment.
